- Email Address: Required for account authentication via one-time password (OTP) verification

- Gender
- Application type (PR or Citizenship)
- Application submission date
- Current application status
- Background check date (if applicable)
- Visa office (if applicable)
- Province of residence
- Military service status
- Approval date (if applicable)
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
We may automatically collect certain technical information when you use our app, including:
- Device information (device type, operating system version)
- App usage data and analytics
- IP address (for security and fraud prevention)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Service Provision: To provide and maintain the HopeBridge service, including authentication and data storage
- Analytics and Statistics: To generate anonymized, aggregated analytics and statistics about IRCC processing times. Your personal information is anonymized before being used in analytics (we use email hashes instead of actual email addresses)
- Community Support: We may occasionally send broadcast emails to the community for important updates, such as petitions or community-related activities that may benefit applicants
- Security and Fraud Prevention: To protect against unauthorized access, fraud, and security threats
- App Improvements: To understand how users interact with the app and improve our services
3. Data Anonymization and Aggregation
For analytics and statistical purposes, we anonymize your data by:
- Replacing your email address with a cryptographic hash (emailHash) that cannot be reversed to identify you
- Aggregating data points to show trends and statistics without revealing individual identities
